Score Breakdown
Why this deal stands out
The current listing price of ₹548 for 2 kg comes in well below the general online price of ₹740 quoted by the seller. That represents roughly a quarter off the listed price, making it a meaningful drop for a household staple that does not frequently go on promotion.
Pros
- Significant discount versus the listed price of ₹740
- Multiple 500g packs make storage and portion control easier
- Free shipping and cash on delivery reduce friction for grocery shoppers
Cons to consider
- MRP is not provided, so the true retail baseline is unclear
- Brand origin is listed as Shopsy, which is a marketplace rather than the food manufacturer, and that may affect traceability
Real-world Use
A family keeps these dates in the kitchen throughout the week for quick snacking, adding them to overnight oats or dal recipes, or breaking the fast during religious observances. The four 500g packs let you reseal portions as needed instead of opening one large bag and exposing the whole stock.
Price Opinion
At ₹548 for 2 kg, this sits about ₹192 under the seller's own listed price of ₹740. It is a genuine step down rather than a nominal discount. Without a longer price history I cannot say whether this is a new low, but it is a clear improvement over the current public price.
